These guys are beautiful! They’re a bit shorter than your average cyan but have nice, thick stems. When young, their bright orange gills contrast against their vanilla colored bodies, giving off an orange creamsicle like vibe. As they mature, their gills turn a deep red, and yes, the spores really are that red when wet. Very pretty!

Genus: Panaeolus
Species: P. cyanescens isolation (aka Pan cyan, Copelandia, Blue Meanie)
Strain Origin: Florida
Climate: Tropical and subtropical.
Habitat: Thrives in nutrient-rich soil, commonly found in pastures, grasslands, and areas fertilized by livestock manure.
Temp: 77°–83°F (25–28°C)
Relative Humidity: 86%–92%
Cap: Small to medium sized (1.5–4 cm diameter), rounded or bell-shaped. Caps usually start out a deep chestnut brown and fade to a pale cream or grayish color as they mature (hygrophanous).
Stem: Thicker than your average cyan, and typically between 7–12 cm long. Pale cream to off white in color, easily bruising blue when handled.
Gills: Beautiful bright orange to deep red, sometimes appearing speckled due to uneven spore distribution. Gills are tightly packed and attached directly to the stem.
Spores: Bright red when wet and dark reddish-brown once dry. Smooth, and elliptical in shape. Spores mature quickly, often leaving dense prints. Basidia typically produce four spores each (tetrasporic).
Growth Characteristics: Fast growing with delicate, tomentose mycelium that is typically soft white in color and semi-translucent on grains. Colonizes quickly, and usually starts pinning within 7-8 days.
Notes: Thrives in environments with stable temperatures, balanced humidity, and consistent airflow.
Potency: Psilocybin content typically ranges between 2%–4%.

I’m very impressed, and looking forward to the PHV restock!
I knew I came to the right place. Super happy for the woman behind the company. The prints I got (BSF, PHV, WEZA) were exceptionally clean. This specific rapid growing strain grew with a vengeance. It even fought bacteria contamination. Thank you Whitney. So much love. And sorry for making this review 3 months after purchasing. Lol. But once I got them I was locked in
