Psilocybe Cubensis “Toque F8” Swab Set

0

Toque is a Tidalwave isolation from Tim Pigg, and it’s one of the most fascinating cubensis varieties I’ve ever seen.

While certain traits tend to carry forward across generations, like the signature blue-green mottling on the caps and distinctive fuzzy, cone-like “party hat”, the most intriguing thing about Toque is its genetic variability. Every flush brings a new set of expressions, from subtle shifts in coloration to dramatic changes in cap and stem morphology. It’s a genuinely dynamic line that’s fun to explore.

These spores were collected from the F8 generation, directly descended from Tim Pigg’s original F7.

What’s included: Each order includes 2 swabs generously covered in spores that can remain viable for several years if stored in a dark, dry, cool location such as your fridge.

Satisfaction Guarantee: I care about your happiness. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, just email me at support@panaeoluscoop.com and I’ll make it right.

Product Description

Genus: Psilocybe

Species: P. cubensis (aka Cubes, Magic Mushrooms)

Origin: Isolation of the Tidalwave lineage by Tim Pigg

Current Generation: F8, directly descended from Tim Pigg’s F7 line

Genetic Style: Selectively refined but still highly expressive

Climate: Tropical and subtropical

Habitat: In nature, Psilocybe cubensis grows in nutrient-rich, manure-enriched grasslands in warm regions. Habitat notes reflect the species, not this cultivated lineage.

Temp: 74°–80°F (23–27°C)

Relative Humidity: 85%–95%

Cap: Golden, umbonate caps with dense flesh and highly ruffled, upward-curling margins that bruise into a bold blue-gray edge.

Stem: Thick, dense, and moderately short. They tend to stay uniformly stout from base to cap, giving the fruits a compact, heavy look.

Gills: Tightly packed and pale when young, quickly darkening to a deep blue-gray as they mature, especially around the heavily curled margins.

Spores: Dark purplish-brown, smooth, and elliptical in shape. Basidia typically produce four spores each (tetrasporic).

Growth Characteristics: Known for blue-green cap mottling, fuzzy central “party hat,” and wide phenotypic variation across flushes.

Notes: Grows best in environments with stable warmth, high humidity, and consistent fresh air exchange.

Potency: Psilocybin content typically ranges between 0.75%–1.75%, with the potential to create very potent blobs.
