ATL7 is a sclerotia forming tampanensis variety originally found in Henry County, GA. What makes ATL7 special is its ability to produce a large amount of fruit and stones at the same time. Most mexicana and tampanensis varieties tend to focus their energy on one or the other, but ATL7 does both without skipping a beat. It’s an aggressive fruiter, often producing upwards of 7 flushes before slowing down. As you can see in the pics, they’re beautiful too. I enjoyed these guys far more than I was expecting.
