Product Description

Genus: Panaeolus

Species: hybrid of P. cyanescens x P. tropicalis

Strain Origin: cross between Panaeolus cyanescens Jalisco x  Panaeolus tropicalis Australia by Jake Oncid.

Climate: Tropical and subtropical.

Habitat: Thrives in nutrient-rich soil, commonly found in pastures, grasslands, and areas fertilized by livestock manure.

Temp: 77°-83°F (25-28°C)

Relative Humidity: 86%-92%

Cap: Caps are rounded to broadly bell shaped, blending features from both parent species. Slightly thicker and more robust compared to pure cyanescens. Pins start out dark chestnut brown in color fading into pale grayish-tan or vanilla when mature (hygrophanous).

Stem: Firm, robust stems that are noticeably thicker and stronger compared to standard cyanescens. Typically pale cream to off-white in color, showing clear bluish bruising, especially at the base or when touched.

Gills: Dark, closely spaced, charcoal-gray to black gills that closely resemble cyanescens but are typically more substantial and sturdy. Gills attach directly to the stem, darkening with spore maturity.

Spores: Jet black, smooth, and elliptical in shape. Spores mature quickly, often leaving dense prints. Basidia typically produce four spores each (tetrasporic).

Growth Characteristics: Fast growing with delicate, tomentose mycelium that is typically soft white in color and semi-translucent on grains. Colonizes quickly, and usually takes about 10-14 days to form pins. Fruits tend to be slightly thicker than cyanescens.

Notes: Thrives in environments with stable temperatures, balanced humidity, and consistent airflow.

Potency: psilocybin is typically between 2%-4%
